This role comes with an unique setting in the world of global logistics, electricity, and self-driving applications and provides you with an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in as an in-house legal counsel.

This position reports to the Head of Administration in Finland and is a fixed-term role for a minimum of 16 months. Start date is preferable on 1 June 2025 at latest. The location is Järvenpää, Finland, with modern hybrid work opportunities.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

The role can be largely modified based on the experience, but you will engage regularly at least with following matters:

• work as a first point-of-contact to our automation project business and participate to contract negotiation and deal making with industrial customers all over the world

• negotiate, draft and advise on other types of transactions and commercial contracts

• provide solutions-oriented and proactive legal advice in the field of general corporate law and advice on compliance matters

• support business in the area of newly introduced data and cyber security legislation and their application in practice

• support in the area of internal audit activities

• correspondence actively with colleagues in Europe, the US and Japan

What do we expect from you?

Education:

• master’s law degree from a relevant jurisdiction (graduated, or under-graduate at the final stage of studies)

Experience:

• preferably 1 to 3 years of traineeship or working experience in in-house and/or law firm position

• experience in contract drafting and negotiating

• the role and responsibilities can be modified based on the experience and will provide a great opportunity also for more experienced legal professionals

Other skills:

• ability to see the big picture and recognize and communicate essentials

• willingness to work cross-functionally and as a part of business processes

• solid negotiation, drafting, presentation and communication skills

• excellent command both in Finnish and English, written and oral; other language skills are considered as benefit

• can-do attitude combined with business like mindset and willingness to learn
